Undergraduate Studies
The department offers a variety of degree programs with various majors and minors at the undergraduate level, including linguistics and language and cultural training in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish. Students can choose from wide course offerings in these areas. Graduates of the department are thoroughly prepared to enter the workforce or attend graduate school.
Graduate Studies
The Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics at FSU offers comprehensive, distinguished M.A., M.S. and Ph.D. programs in several language and linguistic areas. Graduate students work with prominent faculty to learn, conduct research, and contribute to their chosen field of study.
